The switch is designed for connecting two parallel peripherals to one computer, for instance, an ink-jet and a laser printer. Security Printer Switch

You can select the security device for "USB port" or "Print port" for the lap-top computer, or, the desk-top computer.

The new computer usually has 1 to 6 USB ports. The security device for USB port is available. If your computer has no USB port, or the unique USB port has already been connected with the printer or scanner, you can choose the security device for print port.
